ITCHING EARS

 Have you ever read 2 Timothy 4:3-6? "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the TRUTH and turn aside to myths, hearsay and stories. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill all the duties of your ministry."

What is it that itching ears want to hear? 9 times out of 10, it's gossip! People, especially carnal people who do not live by the Spirit love to hear gossip. People who love listening to gossip are always wanting to hear of how bad others are doing because it temporarily clears their own conscience. Those who believe that their merit and their intellect are some type of proof that they are good people, like to point the finger at everyone else. But those of us who know we are not good people surrender to Christ. Christ is the anointed One. People who think they are saved by works can't stand the anointing. They build platforms on tearing down others. They claim Christ but target those who are preaching the Gospel. Much like the Pharisees who were always trying to catch Jesus doing something wrong, they sit and analyze every move of preachers. They don't do this to all preachers, just the ones who have sold out to Jesus. Isn't satan the accuser of the brethren? They are choosing their own pleasure over truth. They aren't rebuking with correction, encouragement, great patience or careful instruction. Their whole goal is to bring doubt to the believer. Which is what satan does. If you want to listen to those who build a following on bashing Christians and preachers of righteousness, something is deeply wrong with you. 

I, personally don't listen to people who build platforms off of stirring up confusion and unbelief. However, my Facebook has been trying to get me to follow Mike Winger, who is really drawing a crowd trying to exploit Todd White and probably many others. I know for a fact that Todd has led many people to Jesus, which is really all that matters. He is not leading people to himself. If God used a donkey, who is anyone to say who God can and cannot use? If God Himself holds no record of wrongs why is Mike Winger? Oh yeah, because he is telling people what their itching ears want to hear!!!!!!! They want to hear that preachers are scum bag liars and prove to the world that the body of Christ is just a bunch of loser hypocrites. It makes me so angry!!!! But more than that, it grieves my heart beyond expression. These people are just eating it up, making fun of people who have given their life to knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent. They want to corrupt Gods people for their own gain. What is gain? I think gain and profit are the same thing. It's interesting that the same people who hate prosperity are trying to profit off of shaming those who preach prosperity. They claim they are trying to warn people of false teachers. This is me rolling my eyes. False teachers do not teach that Jesus is the Christ. Just because someone preaches on or uses prosperity as an example does NOT make them a prosperity preacher. I will never understand why "Christians" hate prosperity anyway. It says in Deuteronomy 28:47, Because YOU did not serve the LORD your God joyfully and gladly in the time of PROSPERITY, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the LORD your God sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you." Isaiah 10:27 says that the anointing breaks the yoke. So isn't it obvious why these "saved by works" people would love nothing more than to preach against those preaching under the anointing? People who are "saved" by their own understanding of the Bible want to keep you from the anointing!!!!! Because the anointing breaks the yoke of bondage! If you actually got saved and set free you would NEVER want to keep people in bondage. And you would also not want to exploit people who are in bondage. 

The letter kills but the Spirit gives life. The identity of Jesus was revealed to Peter by the Spirit of God the Father. That is the revelation that Jesus said He would build His church on. Before that, Peters name was Simon. Jesus gave Him a new name. Peter means rock. The revelation of Jesus Christ is the only religion (if you want to call it that) that preaches death, burial and resurrection. All other religions say you have to earn your own way.. But in the Gospel of Jesus HE EARNED THE WAY!! Saved by works people hate this because it takes away their idol of recognition. 

If prosperity is so bad then why in Deuteronomy 30:15 does it say, See, I set before you life and PROSPERITY, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to Him, and to keep His commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and INCREASE, and the LORD your God will BLESS you in the land you are entering to possess." Prosperity is attached to life. the Bible doesn't warn us about a 'prosperity preacher'. It warns us about an antichrist. Which means against the anointing.

Jesus fully obeyed God for us and as us that we too can deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him. That we be crucified with Him, that we are made new IN Him. We are NO LONGER trying to do what's right, we are no longer looking for people doing "wrong". Our eyes are on the Son of God and He is the author and perfecter of our faith. He is the beginning. He is the end! He ALONE HAS BECOME OUR SALVATION. HE IS OUR HOPE. HE IS THE RESURRECTION. HE IS LIFE. IF WE ARE IN HIM WE ARE A NEW CREATION. WE ARE JOINED TOGETHER WITH HIM IN SPIRIT. NO ONE CAN SEPERATE THAT WHICH HE JOINED TOGETHER. ITS NOT BY MIGHT, NOT BY POWER BUT BY HIS SPIRIT. IF WE DON'T LIVE BY THE SPIRIT WE WILL REAP DESTRUCTION. THAT IS WHY THE BIBLE IS NOT FOR THE INTELLECT. ITS A LIVING BREATHING BOOK. IT IS ALIVE AND ACTIVE. SHARPER THAN A TWO EDGED SWORD. ITS ABLE TO DIVIDE BONE AND MARROW, SOUL AND SPIRIT. WE READ IT AND IT READS US. THE WORD IS GOD, AND HE MADE HIMSELF FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US. HE IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY!!!! THE PROMISE IS THAT WE MIGHT KNOW HIM, THE ONLY TRUE GOD AND JESUS CHRIST WHOM HE SENT. THAT IS ETERNAL LIFE. ITS TIME WE RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH, LET SCRIPTURE INTERPRET SCRIPTURE AND STOP TRYING TO RIP APART THE NEW CREATION. WHAT IS THE NEW CREATION ANYWAY? IS IT LIKE A BABY IN A WOMB? AREN'T THERE PEOPLE WHO TRY TO JUSTIFY TAKING ITS LIFE AWAY AND RIPPING IT APART LIMB BY LIMB? IN MY OPINION THAT IS NO DIFFERENT THAN WHAT PEOPLE LIKE MIKE WINGER ARE TRYING TO DO TO THE BODY OF CHRIST. STOP BEING DECEIVED. KNOW TRUTH AND GET SET FREE.
