ALL THINGS BECOME NEW

 No man puts a piece of new cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment making the tear worse. Neither do people put new wine in old wineskins. If they do the wine will burst out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins and both are preserved. Matthew 9:16

It is not for us to take the holy Scriptures as to patch up our old (self) life. But we are to receive the Seed (life) of the Word as a woman receives the seed of a man at the time of conception to bring forth new life. Scripture is not breathed to strengthen self, repair self, help self, or save self. Scripture is breathed to end self and manifest the Word of God. Scripture is breathed to bring forth new life and for that life to carry out the Word of God on the earth. "In him was life and that life was the light of all mankind." John 1:4. The life that is in the Word, who is God, is the light of all mankind. To all who receive Him, to those who believe in His name, He gives the right to become children of God- children born not of natural decent, but born of God. "THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND MADE HIS DWELLING AMOUNG US!"  Just like a wife receives the seed of her husband and conceives a child, so do we receive the Seed of the Word and conceive what has never been before... NEW LIFE IN CHRIST! To receive the Seed is to believe the Word, to know the Word. If a man never comes to know his wife, they will never become one as to bear fruit or in other words, new life. This doesn't mean know the Word, like memorization. But to know, as to come into covenant with, to become one with, to know intimately. I am not talking lustfully or pervertedly. I am talking about God sending His Word to the earth that it will not return void back to Him. I am talking about God becoming a man to bring life to man, that man return back to God. God did all He was going to do through His Son. Jesus finished the work. When we truly believe in His finished work and we come to know Him through His finished work, we will live from His finished work. We do not worship Him in order to have salvation. We receive salvation IN HIM and we worship Him from salvation. We do not live to gain eternal life. We live from eternal life that we have been given through Jesus Christ. We do not do to become. We have become therefore we do. Obedience is not legalism. It is freedom. It is freedom from the bondage of sin. It is the disobedient who remain in slavery to sin. But true grace empowers us to walk in obedience. There are false teachers just like there were false prophets. 2 Peter 2:1, "They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Sovereign Lord who bought them- bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

Destructive= cause damage

Heresy= dissension, disagreement that leads to DISCORD

Depraved= perverted

Exploit= to benefit from, make full use of

fabricate= invent or concoct with deceitful intent

False prophets in their own selfishness will benefit from deceiving you, causing discord that causes damage to the body of Christ and even denying the authority of the One who bought us. They will bring swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their perverted conduct and will bring the way of truth into low esteem and dishonor truth. In their intense desire for what opposes the Word of God, these teachers will derive a benefit from you with deceitful intent from their own imagination and for THEIR OWN ENTERTAINMENT. Their condemnation has long been hanging over their heads and their destruction has not been sleeping. False prophets want to keep you bound to sin. Jesus set us free from sin. Read Romans 6:2.

 False teachers do not believe in the power of the living God through the Resurrection of Jesus. False teachers preach a God they do not know and talk about someday when we will be free from this wretched old world. The Bible teaches that day is today. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day the Lord has made rejoice and be glad in it. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. One that has never been before. Old things pass away and all things become new. Noah was not a false prophet and he was a preacher of righteousness. Who among us is preaching righteousness today? Righteousness is a position of right standing with God. Something we could never and will never be able to attain in our own strength. God made us right with God! By becoming a man as the Son of man and Son of God, He saved us!!! He is the beginning and He is the end. We are being held together by the Word of His Power. You did not save yourself. You can not save yourself. It is His life in you that raises you, it is His righteousness in you that makes you righteous. It is His perfection in you that makes you perfect. You might say, nobody's perfect. Then why did Jesus say in Matthew 5:48, "Be perfect as I am perfect." With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible. Perfection isn't an action, it is a completion that only comes through Jesus Christ. What are we doing ignoring so great a salvation? What are we doing pretending to believe while we complain and remain hopeless? Why are we preaching about tomorrow and neglecting the promises for today? Why are we stuck in Romans 7 going back and forth between our flesh and the Spirit? It's time to grow up! Either we are for Him or we are against Him. Lets stop playing church and let truth set us free. Let's become believers of the Word of God. Let's actually take ahold of what Christ took ahold of for us? Who is with me?
