DEATH HAS NO VICTORY

 Hi there! I have been marinating in the book of Galatians and can I tell you how the Word of God is changing my life. Everyday, from glory to glory, the revelation of the Gospel is setting me free in every area. Are you a believer in the finished work of Christ? 

Did you know we have been rescued from the present evil age by God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, according to the will of our God and Father! It is the will of God that you be rescued from the present evil age. It says so in Galatians 1. This is not by taking you out of the world to heaven someday. Jesus asked the Father not to take us out of the world but that He protect us from the evil one. 

We have been called to live in the grace of Christ and not turn to a different gospel. Anyone who preaches another gospel is under a curse. The true Gospel is received not from man but can only be received by revelation through Jesus Christ.

God calls us by grace and is pleased to reveal his Son in us that we might preach the true Gospel. False believers do not have freedom in Christ. False believers want to make true believers fall from grace and go back under the Law. Do not give in to them.  Preserve the truth of the Gospel. 

Paul was sent to preach to the uncircumcised. Peter was sent to preach to the circumcised. Peter was an apostle to the circumcised. Paul was and apostle to the Gentiles. It was God who was at work in BOTH of them. When we become a servant of Christ, our goal is not to please man. It is to please God. Our desire is not to please him FOR acceptance. Our desire is to please him BECAUSE WE HAVE NOW BEEN ACCEPTED BY GOD THROUGH HIS SON. The Gospel is not of human origin, it can only be received by revelation through Jesus, the Son of God. When the Father is revealed to us by His Son there is a humility that comes upon us and causes us to have true reverence for God. Reverence can be interchangeable with the word fear. To fear the Lord is not like a son fears an abusive dad. God is not abusive. God set up laws to govern the world that he created, and those laws are still in place today. If we arrogantly go against his design, we are bringing corruption on ourselves by our own rebellion. It is no different than if you were to jump off of a building. The law of gravity would pull you down real fast to the ground and might injure you or even kill you. That's how laws work. God created laws that do not change. If you plant an apple seed you will get an apple tree. It is designed for the seed to be planted in good soil, that it be watered and get sunlight in order to grow and bear fruit. You were not created any differently. But people want to be their own god so bad that they take the design of God and defile it, trying to prove that their ways are better. People are ignorant and don't understand the design of a covenant marriage. They don't take the time to get to know the God they say they believe in. So many people are living day to day doing what feels good without a single thought about the intent of Gods design. Its ironic how what is evil is now called good and what is good is now called evil. the Bible said this would happen.

True humility is to fear the Lord. To fear the Lord is to hate evil. What even is evil? Evil is trying to work your way to God and trying to be your own source. That is evil. Evil is to live backward from Gods design. True humility is an interesting thing. Its not what people think it is. The prideful don't ask God for or about anything. They don't seek him at all. People who struggle with pride refuse to acknowledge they ever had a need, they refuse to acknowledge, refuse to receive, they refuse grace and refuse repentance. They just keep toiling and trying to do what's right to be a good person. Im still unsure as to what standard of measure they use to decide if they are a good person or not. But nonetheless, only God is good and every good gift comes from him. Did you know grace is a gift from God? Pride will always reject grace and call it humility. But its not humble or wise to reject grace.

Do you know what grace is? Grace is how we receive salvation that comes through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Pride will stand in your way of receiving grace that brings you salvation. I say this all the time, but it seems like so many people think Jesus saved us just to get us to heaven someday after we leave this physical body. Salvation is not heaven someday. Salvation is for today and it is redemption from the old covenant to the new covenant. That is what salvation is. Jesus saved us from the death we died in Adam. Remember when God told Adam, "IF you eat of that tree you will surely die?" He chose death and we all who came from him were born under the curse of the Law of sin and death. Jesus came and purchased us with his own blood, paying the penalty of death for us, he died to sin once for all of us. He redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us when He hung on the cross. He was then buried and raised to life. The Word says that we who are baptized have been baptized in his death, we have been buried with him and are raised with him seated in heavenly places. The Law is the ministry of death. This is the Old Covenant. Under the curse of the Law you are accused, you will be sick, you will have lack, you will fall, you will toil for everything you have until you return back to the ground from which you came. That is the curse of the Law. Well the entire curse can be found in Deuteronomy 28. Even though man received this law their hearts were evil. When man disobeyed the Word of God they were sold as slaves to sin. This is what happened therefore man came up under the Law. The Law cannot impart life. You have an inner man, called your conscience. When you are born under the Law you have a guilty conscience before God because you are a slave to sin. It is just how it is. You, yourself cannot change it no more than you can change the law of gravity. There is One who can change it and that is Jesus Christ. Only His blood can cleanse your conscience, your inner man, the one who knows your thoughts. You can try your whole life to clear your conscience by your own works or efforts but you will remain under the curse of the Law. This is not the fear of the Lord, this is the absence of Christ. But if we be in Christ, we are a new creation. We are under a new covenant. Jesus takes us from the curse of the Law into the Promise of life and that can only come from him. Once our inner man receives the revelation of the Gospel, grace takes us from the old covenant to the new covenant where all things become new. Grace takes us from life in the flesh to life in the Spirit. Grace empowers us to live through the life imparted to us through Jesus Christ through agency of Holy Spirit. We are no longer under the Law, we are now under grace. 

God gave us a promise long ago through a man named Abraham and his Seed. It does not say his seeds (plural), it says Seed, meaning only one. That Seed of promise is Jesus, the Son of the living God. The promise of the Seed is that we are redeemed from the curse of the Law, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. The Law doesn't set aside the covenant previously established by God. The Law doesn't do away with the Promise. The Promise is not determined by the Law, the Promise is not controlled by the Law, the Promise does not rely on the Law. The Promise comes through a Seed. The Law was only added because of our transgressions, our arrogance in thinking we could go our own way and not Gods way. It was added until the Seed to whom the Promise referred had come. To clarify.... The Law was added because of our disobedience to God, it was not added to give us life, it was added to be our accuser. Jesus says in John 5:45, that Moses is your accuser and he is the one on whom your hopes are set. The Law is not our hope. The Law is our accuser. And if you remain under the Law, you remain under the authority of sin. Scripture has locked everything up under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. The only way to be delivered from the power of sin, death and hell is through the blood/life of Jesus Christ. He is the only One who can impart life. He is the only One who was faithful until the end. It is only in Him that you can truly be saved and sure of your salvation today. He destroyed the last enemy, which is (death) the separation between God and man. He tore the curtain that separated us from top to bottom when He finished the work on the cross. He made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross by which he put to death our hostility. He came and preached peace to us who were far away and to us who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. When the faith comes and is revealed to you, you are no longer under the guardianship of the Law. You are now justified by faith. Christ IN you is the hope of glory. But until the Seed whom the promise refers comes, you will remain under the authority of sin. People receive the faith at different times. That is why some people still preach old covenant. That is why some people still preach condemnation. That is why some people preach works or behavior instead of the new covenant. That is why there are so many doctrines. People have built theologies according to their experiences instead of the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Stop justifying your experience and be justified by faith. 

Maybe you've accepted the fact that you are a sinner but you've never received new life in Christ Jesus. The good news is that Jesus brought eternal life here for you now. God gave man all the ways to live in his Kingdom. Man failed and could not do it. So God became a man and brought his Kingdom to earth and put himself inside of a woman to be birthed from the flesh through the Spirit so his will could be carried out here in the earth! This earth is his and the fullness thereof! 1 Corinthians 6:17 tells us that if we are united with the Lord, we become ONE with him in spirit. It is only through Jesus Christ that we are children of God through faith, for all of us who have been baptized into Christ have clothed ourself with Christ. We are all one in Jesus Christ.

Those who try to be justified by the Law have been alienated from Christ and have fallen away from grace. If you would like to receive grace through faith in Jesus Christ, just ask the Lord right for it right now. Then go get in the Word of God and renew your mind so you won't be conformed to the fallen pattern of the world. Its not hopeless. You don't have to wait for heaven. God brought heaven to you. Whatever you did or didn't do, it does not matter!! The only thing that matters is faith expressing itself through love. 

Today is a good day to let death be swallowed up by life! Jesus is life! Where o death is your victory? Where o death is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourself to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor is not in vain.
