BOUGHT AND PAID FOR BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS
We live in a day and age where people think there is more than one truth. We've got your truth, my truth, their truth and THE TRUTH. Unbelievers in Christ don't like truth. Truth is the lethal injection to the flesh. When we are presented with Truth we either believe or don't believe. Unbelief in the truth brings us condemnation. Belief in truth always brings transformation. Always. If the gospel you heard didn't set you free, it is not the gospel and it's not THE TRUTH. Galatians 1:8 says that if we or an angel from heaven should preach another gospel than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!
We know that false teachers are those who try to pervert the gospel. We have been called to live in the grace of Christ but so many people have turned to a different gospel- which is really no gospel at all. These people get thrown into confusion. The gospel is that Jesus gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the PRESENT evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. Sin is sin no matter who tries to justify their actions or what they do. If the Bible calls it sin, it is sin!! How are we going to believe Jesus saved us from sin, yet deny that we have ever been in sin? And if we believe that he saved us from our sin, why are we still drowning in sin? Was the blood of Jesus only powerful enough to save us from the consequence of sin, but not the power of sin? We were given the law knowing we could not keep the law. The law is holy and it was sent to rule over us as a shadow of the good things that were coming- not the realities themselves. The law reveals to us that we are sinners in need of a Savior. If that is not believed as we read the law then we will not be able to receive Jesus as Lord. We will live life trying to be a good person and keep as much of the law that we can. But the Bible says even if we miss one, we deserve death. If you don't believe this, you are an unbeliever. I've learned that many people do not understand what they will never be able to keep the whole law and they can't be a good enough of a person to be saved from the wrath of God. The only way to be free from the law of sin and death is through the blood of Jesus. The life of any creature is in the blood. The blood of Jesus is his life. the Bible does not teach be a good person like Jesus. That is not the gospel. Every religion acknowledges Jesus as a good person. Except Jesus! He says, no one is good except my Father." Jesus came to do the will of his Father. Which was to save us in himself. Jesus came to earth in our likeness and condemned sin in the flesh. Condemned means unfit for use. If a house is declared condemned, it means no one can live there. Sin is condemned in our flesh. Our flesh is weak, that is why we can not keep the law. That is why we are not called to live in the flesh. Look at Romans 8:9, "You, however are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ." This is why Galatians 6:8 tells us, "The one who sows to please their sinful nature will reap destruction, the one who sows to please the Spirit will reap eternal life." Sin is unfit for us. It does not fit the pattern of the image of God and it makes us fall, it brings us destruction, its outcome is death. Unless we believe and receive Jesus. Jesus, the Son of God who came and died as the Son of Man, that all men can become sons of God. He came, He died was buried and resurrected. He is our Resurrection and our life. In Him we are no longer condemned, we are no longer in a fallen state, we are no longer dead. In Him we are the dead who rise. Paul says, Jesus came into the world to save sinners, Paul said, "of whom I am the worst." Paul says he was the WORST sinner. Paul was persecuting Christians. He was the worst sinner ever recorded in the Bible. Persecute means persistent harassment due to identity or belief. Paul was harassing followers of the Way until he had an encounter with Jesus himself. Jesus was actually the one he was persecuting. God is actually the only one we sin against. But if we hear The Word and believe the Him who sent Jesus (The manifest Word of God), we have eternal life and will NOT come under judgement. And we have indeed crossed over from death to life (John 5:24).
Do you know the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom was sent? If you do, you have eternal life! If you don't, go get to know Him. The old Covenant reveals Jesus and the new Covenant reveals the Father. Jesus is the only way to the Father. To know Jesus is to know the Father. When the Son is with the Father and we can see Him no longer, He sends us the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of Truth and He reminds us of all truth. And the truth always makes us free. It does not make us free to sin. It sets us free from sin, that we may serve the living God who loves us and gave up his only Son that we might know Him who is the only true God!
